This event is open to all UCI students, staff and faculty and includes free CHRONIC TACOS, drinks and Reggaefest Swag and tye-dying (feel free to bring your own things to tye-dye!) from 12pm-5pm in the campus’ Aldrich Park. In past years, students 21+ could receive up to 2 free cups of beer, courtesy of the Anthill Pub. Sadly this is no more and free drinks include only soda and water.
The constant soundtrack to the event is a variety of Reggae artists who over the years have included Barrington Levy, Fully Fullwood, Pato Banton, Ras Michael, Tosh Meets Marley, Detour Posse and many others. Reggaefest is one of our most dynamic events and truly great day in the sun.

A Reggae/Dub/Rock band from the heart of Southern California’s Orange County, Seedless was formed in the summer of 2006. Drawing together an eclectic group of individuals and quickly finding a sound of their own, Seedless has began to push the limits on reggae music. They have the ability to go from roots reggae to progressive rock to just about any style of music while intertwining the genres flawlessly. In between the political and climactic sound, Seedless keeps coming with fun, feel good reggae songs that are sure to touch anyone, anywhere from any walk of life.
Seedless has played with many respectable musicians including: The Wailers, Katchafire, Tribal Seeds, Tomorrow’s Bad Seeds, Iration, Pacific Dub, Natural Vibrations, Fishbone, Through The Roots, Rebelution, Stick Figure, Pepper, Fortunate Youth, The Dirty Heads, The Aggrolites and many more. Seedless’ first full length album is set to release August 28th 2010, they have gained a nationwide following after releasing just 3 sample tracks off of their album. Priding on their live show and stage performance, Seedless is a must see, must hear band in 2010!
